Here’s some helpful information on how to keep your powdercoated products looking like new
options
Product cleaned with solvent and colour powder coated. This is recommended for any product located more than 5,000m from water (sea, river and/or estuary).
Standard Product plus primed and colour powder coated. This is recommended for any product located between 2,000–5,000m from water (sea, river and/or estuary).
Standard Product plus ZN-primed, E-primed and colour powder coated. This is recommended for any product installed within 2,000m from water (sea, river and/or estuary) or any harsh industrial conditions.
limitations
It is important to note that powdercoating is considered decorative and does not provide a protective coating. Therefore, there are no guarantees on powdercoating steel products.
maintenance
Powdercoated products require regular maintenance, such as cleaning with warm soapy water.
The closer your product is located to water (sea, river and/or estuary) and/or harsh industrial conditions, the more frequent cleaning is required.
Any Three Stage Products (located within 2,000m from water) should be cleaned every 2-3 months. Any Standard or Two Stage Products (located more than 2,000m from water) should be cleaned a minimum four times per year.
